WIC is a Special Supplemental Nutrition Program funded by the United States Department of Agriculture. This program provides nutritional education to women (pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding), infants and children to age 5. Through this federally funded program participants receive vouchers to exchange for food items at participating WIC vendors. Pregnant, postpartum and breastfeeding women who meet the required criteria
Infants and children to age 5
NOTE: Eligibility is determined based on income, medical nutrition risk and residence.
Services Provided:
- Nutrition & diet counseling
- Food coupons for pregnant or breastfeeding women, infants and children up to 5 years of age
- Breastfeeding support and Breastpump loan services for eligible WIC participants
