The Northampton County Board of Health meets on the second Thursday of each month at 7:30 PM in the Health Department Conference Room. The General Statutes (G.S. 130A-35) mandates that certain disciplines, if available within the County, are represented on the Board of Health. Board members can serve as many as 3 consecutive 3-year terms before rotating off the Board. Existing Board members are eligible for re-appointment at the end of each 3-year term.
