What is the Child Service Coordination Program?
The Child Service Coordination Program identifies children at high risk for developmental delays/disabilities, major illness or social or emotion problems. This program also assures that children receive prompt routine health care and immunizations, provides screenings to assure your child develops well, and works to improve the well being of infants and children of Northampton County.
Who is eligible?
Children from birth to age three at risk for delay/disability, major illness, or social or emotional problems.
Children from birth to age five who have a diagnosed delay/disability, major illness, or social or emotional problem.
What services are offered?
Referrals are made as needed to home health nursing, nutrition, housing, daycare, transportation, counseling, and parent support along with screenings at specific ages provided by the Child Developmental Services Agency. Referrals for early intervention services for children who have a diagnosed delay or disability are also arranged.
There is no fee for this program. It is based on the needs of the child.
